Frequently Asked Questions

Participants must register online through the website by clicking on their desired programme and filling out a one-page form. Before starting the registration process, please ensure that you have the following:

- A passport-sized photograph for the CES smartcard. It should be against a white background.

- Correct CNIC/B Form details.

Incorrect information provided during the registration process will lead towards cancellation of your enrolment at any stage, and participants will not be entitled to claim a refund.

Once you have completed your online registration, you may proceed to the payment section. You have two options:

1. Pay online using your bank debit/credit cards through LUMS online payment system

2. Download the fee voucher and deposit cash in any branch of the designated banks specified on the fee voucher.

Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 working hours, and your payment status will be updated to "ENROLLED" in the online application portal.


KalPay Taleem offers an instalment facility for participants enrolled in CES on-campus courses and workshops. If you want this option, please email or call at 0328 3044414 for more information.
We work on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, you can apply for the program up until the point it is filled. We suggest students to apply as early as possible.
LUMS does not have a preference for students who attend LUMS Winter Session. However, it is encouraged that you take up any activity, class or program that you are interested in. This does add value to your application. What is important to LUMS is how you learn, grow and contribute because of these experiences.
After your payment, you are officially a student at our Winter Programme. You will be notified of further details via email.
The fee for the program is non-refundable.
We do not offer any discounts or scholarships for Winter session.
Hostel accommodation is not available for Winter school students.
The cost of meals is not included in the Winter School @ LUMS fee. The students will need to bring cash for their meals from any of the LUMS in-house dining facilities.
Yes. Students are expected to bring electronics for both school and personal use. Once registered on the university network, students can access their school work, check assignments, and do Internet research within the parameters of our premises. The school supports both PC and Mac operating systems and also has numerous computers available in our computer lab for students to work on throughout the day.
