The Young Learners Programme is carefully curated to meet your child's creative and academic needs, offering a range of courses to choose from! The programme aims to inculcate analytical skills and encourage young students to pursue the lines of inquiry that fascinate them. Young Learners will be able to interact with peers and mentors, attend classes that introduce them to an interdisciplinary approach to learning, and spend their winter holidays making incredible memories!

Session: December 23, 2024 to January 3rd, 2025

The Young Learners Programme runs for two weeks for students aged 8 through 13. We are looking for students who enjoy participating in creative classes and making new friends or want to sharpen their skills related to leadership, art, technology, and communication.

Classes will take place on the LUMS campus, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 3:15 PM. 

LUMS, Young Learners programme is open to students who are in Lahore during winter break. Applicants outside this area are welcome to apply. However, parents or guardians are responsible for all lodging, transportation to and from campus, and meals. LUMS does not provide housing for Young Learner participants

Young Learners Programme (8 - 10 Years)

The programme fee includes all the listed courses, and participants are expected to participate in each one.


This course develops confidence in persuasive communication, covering message crafting, effective voice and body language, audience connection, and managing anxiety to speak with clarity and conviction.


This course introduces young learners to leadership concepts, building self-awareness, confidence, decision-making, teamwork, and conflict-resolution skills. Students will learn to lead and positively impact their communities, empowering them to make a difference.


This course guides students through space exploration, covering planets, stars, black holes, and more. Through fun hands-on activities like building solar system models and crafting constellations, students will spark curiosity about the universe and learn the importance of space exploration.

This course introduces young learners to concepts like purpose, responsibility, and happiness. Through stories and activities, students explore questions like "What makes us happy?" and "How can we be kind?" Inspired by Harvard's Good Project, it fosters empathy and ethical thinking, helping students understand how kindness and helping others create a meaningful life.

Young Learners Programme (11 - 13 Years)

The programme fee includes all the listed courses, and participants are expected to participate in each one.

+ Digital Art

Our creative course introduces students to Adobe Photoshop, covering design basics like color theory, typography, and layout. Students will create posters, logos, and more while developing artistic skills through hands-on projects and building a portfolio of creative work.


Young entrepreneurs will learn the basics of starting and growing a business, including creating a plan, managing money, funding projects, understanding customers, making sales, and building a team for success.                                             

           



Students will learn research basics, critical thinking, and safe internet use. They'll identify reliable sources, distinguish fact from opinion, and spot misinformation. By course end, they'll use the internet to answer their own inquiry-based questions, fostering curiosity and understanding.
